CHIPPENHAM won another 17 medals at the County Championships at the weekend.
Competing in both the Youths on Saturday and the Bagcats (14 and under) on Sunday, Chippenham ASC won six golds, four silvers and seven bronze medals.
Bagcats (14 and under) top performer was John Branston, 13, who won all four events he entered. Youngster Sam Miller, 11, took the gold in the 200 meters butterfly.
Other medalists included Miller (silver and bronze), 11-year-old James Tucker (silver) and Matthew Hare, 12, with two bronzes.
In the race for overall best swimmers in the championship, Branston and Hare top their age groups and Miller lies second of the 11 year olds with two more days of competition to come.
Other Chippenham swimmers to qualify included Florence Preece, Emily Daulby, Chloe May, Benjamin Birkett, Bradley Coupland, Thomas Tennant, Nathan Coupland, Cameron Perkins, Andrew Hare, Jessica Stafford, Peter Holden and Owen Wilson.
In the youth races, Beatrice Moore, 16, took gold in the 200m butterfly and silver in the 200m breaststroke.
Jack Crow, 17, swam well to take silver in the 200m butterfly and bronze in the 50m backstroke.
Crow took third in the overall championship race for the 200m butterfly.
Henry Moore, 15, was third in the 50m backstroke and 200m butterfly and Kalynn Branston, 15, was third in the 200m butterfly.
Other Chippenham Youth swimmers who raced well on the day included Chelsea Chard (four, 50m back), Evie Preece, Lewis Wilson, Joe Bailey, Katie Smith, 14 (fourth, 200m breaststroke) and 18-year-old Rachel Moore (fourth, 200m breast stroke).
Chippenham will be competing in the third round of the Wilts Winter League at Salisbury on Saturday.
