TOMMY Dryden was pleased with his side’s performance but admitted that Calne Town were “their own worst enemy” as they crashed out of the Les Phillips Cup.
Last year’s beaten finalists lost 1-0 to Hallen on Wednesday night.
“We played well and restricted them to long range shots but we failed to defend the second ball for their goal,” said joint-boss Dryden.
“We worked so hard and put in a good performance but just let ourselves down a little bit.”
Calne travel to Willand Rovers in the Toolstation Premier League on Saturday.
