MALMESBURY Victoria caretaker boss Martin Woodhouse admits that his side are suffering from not being able to field a consistent side.
“We’ve got a nucleus of about seven or eight players that are always available but we need it to be 11 or 12,” he said.
“We’re not playing badly at the moment and we’re not even thinking about a relegation battle but I thnk that a settled side would help us develop that killer instinct to win games.”
The Vics were beaten 3-1 at Shortwood United on Tuesday, with Chris Oke grabbing the only goal.
On Saturday, Woodhouse was left disappointed as his side drew 1-1 with bottom side Biscester Town.
“We should have won the game,” he said.
The Vics have been busy, recruiting goalie Luke Alford from Shrivenham and striker Craig Alexander and midfielder James McCarthy, who were both free agents.
Woodhouse’s men travel to second-from-bottom Hook Norton on Saturday.
