JACK Karpinski scored direct from a corner as to help Chiseldon get off to a winning start in Under 13 Division 3.

Karpinski’s strike along with others from Charlie Humphreys and Jamie Davison was enough to see off Wootton Bassett Town 3-0.

Under 9 Division 1

Liden Community went into half time 1-0 up against Shaw.

Liden doubled their lead before Shaw scored, and Liden then scored another four goals.

Shaw pulled back two further goals to make final score 6-3.

For Liden Tobias Lango, Dean Haddrell, Archie Atwell, Kieran Mutlow all hit a goal apiece and Callum Jackson scored two.

Luke Rouse bagged all five goals in Ferndale Rodbourne’s 5-3 win over Wootton Bassett.

Croft Juniors beat Ashton Keynes 10-0 although the match was closer than the scoreline suggested.

Croft stopper Connor Wilson made some great saves to ensure Croft went into the break 2-0 up, and the second half saw Wilson’s side score eight more goals.

Jed Phillips (4), Spencer Bunce (3), Tom Hayes, Tyger-J Hall and Dan Boswell all found the net.

A closely-fought battle at the Rec saw Highworth Town Juniors H go down 2-1 to Greenmeadow Youth. Liam Hares scored a superb long-range strike for the home team.

Under 9 Division 2

MARLBOROUGH Youth won an extremely tight game against Highworth Town Juniors T 2-0 thanks to first-half goals from Jack Davidson and Robert Herrett.

The points were shared between Fairford Youth and Cricklade FC in a 3-3 draw. Marshall Meacock, Harry Kearley and Jay Wilson were all goalscorers.

Wanborough Juniors took a 3-1 lead over FC Abbeymeads before the latter fought back to 3-3. Wanborough then hit two further goals late on to secure a 5-3 victory.

Ethan Morrissey, Tom Warren and Ollie Holmes all found the net for Abbeymeads whilst Tom Moore (2), Will Sumner (2) and Jacob Chilcott scored for Wanborough

Under 9 Division 3

Stratton Juniors Tigers went into a 1-0 lead against Northern Lights before Callum Lewis equalised just before half time. Both teams went close late on but played out a fair draw.

Goals from Samuel Fawcett, Jay Gilbert and Alex Card meant Swindon Supermarine came from 2-0 down against Lydiard Youth Black to claim a 3-2 victory.

Under 10 Division 1

UNDER 9 champions Robins kicked off their Under 10 campaign with a hard-fought 5-2 win away to Highworth Town Juniors H.

Robins went 3-0 ahead before Highworth struck back with two goals before half time. Robins then scored another two goals in the second half to run out winners.

Callum Stagg (2), Zac Stewart-Skinner (2) and Bradley Hirst scored Robins’ goals.

In wet conditions Shaw overcome a resilient Greenmeadow Youth side, winning 6-1.

Corey-Jay Adams scored a hat-trick, Charlie Main hit a brace and Joe Martin grabbed a single for Shaw.

Swindon Rangers started the new campaign with a 9-1 win away at Ferndale who put in a brave display.

Charlie Begley opened the scoring for Rangers with the other goals coming from Gregor Thompson (4), Jack Paines who netted a hat-trick on his debut and an own goal.

Brandon Lewis was Ferndale’s goalscorer.

Wootton Bassett started the season in style with a 6-1 win over Pewsey Vale side.

Jack Rossi hit four goals, with Bassett captain Billy Richardson and James Young adding a goal apiece.

Under 10 Division 3

ASHTON Bowyer kept Highworth Town Juniors in their game against Hungerford.

Hungerford took a one-goal lead before Oliver Eaton equalised for Highworth.

William Kendrick’s goal looked like giving Highworth three points before Hungerford rallied to draw 2-2.

Ferndale Rodbourne Rovers, playing their first game together, overcome a well-organised Highworth Town Juniors T 1-0 with a goal from Kain Chivers.

Goals in the second half from Harry Page (4) and Luke Warren gave Ferndale Lions a 5-3 victory against a battling Stratton Juniors side, who had led 0-1 at half time.

Under 10 Division 4

NORTHERN Lights FC scored an early goal through Tommy Cole in their game against Old Town.

Connor Robb scored three and Charlie Scoble and Tom Tindall also found the net in a 7-1 victory.

Kingshill defeated Shrivenham & Watchfield 7-3 thanks to a hat-trick from Ocean Chand and four goals from Archie Morse.

Under 11 Division 1

SWINDON Rangers Under 11 A gained a hard-fought win against a well-organised and spirited Ramsbury side.

Man of the match Dan Hopper started the scoring before Mitch Cremin increased the lead. Joe Tyson completed the 3-0 victory.

FC Calne Strikers versus Stratton Juniors was 1-1 at half time with Stratton’s goal coming from Ryan Harris.

At the final whistle Calne were 3-1 winners thanks to goals from Adam Richards and Davin Selkridge-Carty.

Chippenham Town scored two goals either side of half time as they defeated Croft Juniors 4-1.

Under 11 Division 2

BROAD Town Colts were out of the blocks quickly with three goals in the first half against Croft.

In the second half it was more even but the Croft keeper was called into action to make some fine saves.

Under 11 Division 3

HIGHWORTH Town Juniors T made an impressive start to the new season as they beat Chiseldon 5-1.

Highworth’s man of the match, Elliot Doughty, made a scoring debut and helped set up a Leon Summers hat-trick. JoJo Pastore completed the scoring.

Under 11 Division 4

FERNDALE Rodbourne Youth were victorious against Pewsey Vale 3-1. Their goalscorers were Keiran Dodson, Joesph Gleed and Kieran Hall.

Under 12 Division 1

Wanborough were two goals up against Fairford but the latter side fought back to 2-2 at half time. In the second half Wanborough scored four more to take the match 6-2. Toby Berwick, William Crisp (3), Joe Castle and Joe Maskelyne all registered for Ferndale.

Keenan Burton scored a consolation goal for Chiseldon as they lost 2-1 at home to Ashton Keynes Youth.

Under 12 Division 2

FERNDALE Rodbourne held on to beat FC Calne Bears 5-4 in a thrilling season opener.

Strikers Samuel Roberts and Callum Ratcliffe grabbed two goals each, whilst midfielder Oliver Bunce got the all-important winner.

In a very tight game Highworth Town Juniors H took a two-goal lead before Greenmeadow Youth got one back before half time through Jack Trott.

In second half Greenmeadow equalised through Oliver Mathews before Highworth scored two more. Mathews got a third for Greenmeadow to set up a tense finish.

Under 12 Division 3

JASON Werrell scored the only goal for Chiseldon as they lost 5-1 at home to Highworth Town Juniors T.

Croft Blue and Old Town struggled to finish their chances thanks to good goalkeeping on both sides.

Wiktor Zioltkowski slotted home to give Croft the winning goal when a clearance rebounded to him.

Under 13 Division 1

FC CALNE ran out winners against Swindon Supermarine who were unable to convert any of their chances during the match.

Under 13 Division 2

SHAW A and Ferndale Rodbourne started the season off with a cracking encounter that finished 2-1 to Shaw A.

Goals from Owain Walton and Dan Grieve gave Shaw a two-goal advantage before Aaron Rowland pulled one back to make it a thrilling finish.

Two goals apiece from Ryuto Taniguchi and Mitchell Sutton and a looping header from Tom Boddy earned Blunsdon Colts a 5-1 victory over Marlborough Youth.

Newly-promoted Brinkworth Cats ensured their season got off to a winning start against Hungerford.

Ronan Hollier bagged a hat-trick and there were individual efforts from Aaron Bryant, Ryan Collins and Matt Donley.

Two second half goals, both from free kicks, were well-deserved for visitors Hungerford Town.

Under 14 Division 1

GREENMEADOW’S performance team hit three goals past Stratton Youth with Toby Bridges (2) and Liam Mundy on the scoresheet.

Under 14 Division 2

SHAUN Jones gave Eldene Rangers an early lead against Greenmeadow Youth, who levelled early in the second half through Owain Davies.

Harvey Ritchie then found the net to give Eldene a 2-1 win.

Despite twice going behind, goals from Callum Cook (2), Alexander Cook (2), Nathan Wood (2), Reeses Elliott and Brandon Wood helped Swindon Supermarine seal an impressive 8-3 win at Brinkworth Cats R.

Pinehurst Rangers versus Croft Juniors FC saw a quiet first half with the ball continually stuck in midfield.

The second half was lively with both teams creating lots of opportunities, and the final score was 4-3 to Pinehurst.

Kyle Bowyer, Will Stamp, Ben Dixon and Macauley Thomas all scored for Rangers.

Under 15 Division 1

SWINDON Rangers started the new season with a good home win against Calne.

Kias Bonner-Shea opened the scoring on his debut, and this was followed by a brace from Ben Holley, an effort from Aiden Miller and a further goal from Bonner-Shea to make it 5-0.

Under 15 Division 2

CROFT went behind twice to a very good Fairford team, but managed draw level through Josh Ayres and Josh Smith at the halfway mark.

Croft then scored three times through Brad Pearce (2) and James Sims before Fairford scored a late consolation.

Under 16 Division 1

NEWLY-PROMOTED Highworth Town Juniors J met Wroughton in their first match of the season and lost 6-0.

Under 16 Division 2

OLD Town scored early in the first half against Avonvale thanks to a header by Robert Baldwin.

Scott Garrett added a second as he completed the scoring in the second half.

Under 16 Division 3

FC ABBEYMEADS started the season in great form as they won 10-0 away to Eldene M.

The scorers for Abbeymeads were Jamie Broadfield (3), Yunis Shariff (2), Joel Goddard, Matt Huggins, Josh Willcock, George Walley and Corey Harper.

Meanwhile, Liam Clark, Macben D’Souza, Sebastiao Miranda, Elloy Pereira (2), Dikesh Rai, Jose Rodrigues (3) and William Smith (3) hit the net as Eldene I defeated Shaw 12-0

Under 17/18 Division 2

LYDIARD’S Kieran Butler opened the scoring before Rodbourne equalised.

The match was all-but decided late in the first half thanks to goals from Kyran Savage (2) and another from Butler. Rodbourne replied to make it 4-2 in the second half.

Chippenham B beat Coleshill 2-0. Their goalscorers were Ahmadi and Bell.
