LUKE Bolton hit a dramatic last-minute winner to secure his hat-trick as Croft came away with a 5-4 victory over Highworth to keep the pressure on at the top of Under 12 Division Three.

Bolton’s first two goals gave his side a 2-0 advantage, before Michael Thompson hit two of his own to make it 4-0. Highworth kept pushing and got themselves back into the game and brought it back to 4-4 with two minutes left, but from the kick off Croft pushed on and Bolton completed his treble to win it at the death.

The win leaves Croft five points behind leaders Wickham Wanderers who beat Ramsbury 3-0 to keep top spot.

Under 12 Division 1

Wroughton Youth went one up through Cali Smith but Purton came back to lead 3-1. Two late goals from Cali Smith and Jordon Taylor earned Wroughton a point.

Under 12 Division 2

In a tight top of the table clash Highworth Town Juniors C edged out Greenmeadow Youth 3-1 with goals from Jack Smart, Christian Durrant and Euan Hutcheson.

Under 9 Division 1

Shaw went 1-0 up in the first five minutes against Ferndale Rodbourne, but Ferndale hit back with two from William Fowler, including a penalty, and one from Joe McGrogan before new boy Felipe de Adreu Dias added a fourth before half time. After the break Ferndale added four more through William Fowler, a Luke Rouse brace and a second from Dias eventually made it 8-1.

Shrivenham & Watchfield took all three points with a 5-1 win against Ashton Keynes. Shrivenham went into the interval three goals to the good with Kieran Sutton bagging a brace and Max Whitfield with one. The home side pulled one back early in the second half before Chad Smith grabbed himself a couple of goals to complete the victory. Ben Cardus opened the scoring for Greenmeadow and Thomas Lane along with Josh Sawford chipped in with a goal a piece to seal a 3-0 win over Liden Community. The Highworth Town Juniors H team secured a 2-1 away win at Croft. After Croft went ahead, Cameron Hicks pulled Highworth level in the first half and Dan Warre grabbed the winner mid-way through the second half.

Under 9 Division 2

Tom Moore scored a hat-trick for Wanborough, but Wroughton Youth were a strong side and deserved their 6-3 win.

Highworth Town Juniors T secured a 4-0 away win at Lambourn Sports. Josh Uzzell, Drew Ellis and Thomas Harris were all on the score sheet, before Harris grabbed his second. Hungerford opened the scoring before Billy Saunders grabbed a brace to secure a 2-1 victory for Swindon Rangers.

Under 9 Division 3

Statton Juniors Lions and Stratton Juniors Tigers played out a very competitive 0-0 draw. Keepers, Troy Deane (Lions) and Dylan Dimond (Tigers) had great games and deserved to keep clean sheets.

Under 10 Division 1

Robins maintained their 100 per cent league record with a 3-0 home victory against ASC Youth in blustery conditions.

Playing against the wind in the first half Robins led 2-0 at half time and added one further goal in the second half. Zac Stewart-Skinner, Bradley Hirst and Callum Stagg registered for Robins. Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas put on a brave display before going down 6-1 to a strong Highworth Town Juniors H team. Brandon Lewis scored for the Pumas whilst Highworths goals came by way of Ethan Parker (2), Jay Lardner (1), Harvey Flippance (1), Dylan Boulton (1) and an own goal. Swindon Rangers maintained their 100 per cent record with a 5-1 win away at Shaw. Jack Paines netted a hat-trick and Gregor Thompson and Charlie Begley grabbed one each.

Under 10 Division 2

Bradley Wilkins smashed five goals and Reuben Murkin-Whyte hit four as Highworth C beat Blunsdon Colts 18-0.

Kyran Prismall, James Archer, Sol Lennon and Tommy Mann all scored twice while Rhys Bowden grabbed one to secure the big win.

Under 10 Division 3

Colin Adams scored a late winner on his debut to secure a 2-1 for Ferndale Rodbourne Rovers over Stratton Juniors B. Stratton started off strongly and took a deserved 1-0 lead in at half time. Rovers missed a penalty but Calum Lansley scored from the rebound and with only minutes left Adams slotted home from close range to give Rovers the win.

Under 10 Division 4 Lambourn took the lead early on against Northern Lights. Soon after, Tommy Cole scored to draw level and he soon added a second. An own goal and a goal from Connor Robb sealed the 4-1 win.

Under 11 Division 1

Swindon Rangers B recorded a 6-2 win against FC Calne Strikers. Reuben Reeve was Rangers’ Man of the Match with Charlie McCuish (2), Harvey Coster (2), Callum Howse and Daniel Jones scoring the goals.

Under 10 Division 2

Liden Community managed to turn the game around and finish 3-2 winners over Broad Town Colts. Ryan Bennett (2) and Oliver Burt (1) scored for Liden. FC Abbeymeads Youth went 2-0 up with Ferndale Rodbourne Youth goalkeeper James White playing superbly to keep the Abbeymeads score down. A pretty even second half saw each team score a goal for a final score of 3-1.

Under 10 Division 3

Goals from Tommy Dearsley, Ryan Harris and Leon Summers had looked like they had given Highworth Town Juniors a share of the spoils in a well fought match, but Shaw exploited gaps in the Highworth defence to come away with all three points with a 4-3 win.

Under 10 Division 4

Dan O'Brien and Josh Haynes got on the scoresheet for Ferndale Rodbourne Colts in a game where, despite their goalkeeper Steve Flower being in fantastic form, they eventually narrowly lost 3-2 to Pewsey Vale. An end to end seven goal thriller saw Ferndale Rodbourne Youth narrowly lose against Wanborough Juniors 4-3.

Oliver Price was superb for Ferndale with Joe Gleed, Jacob Edwards-Brown and Josh Richter scoring.

Under 13 Division 2

A tale of two halves saw Ferndale Rodbourne B awarded a penalty which was saved by the Highworth keeper but finished by Harry Skinner on the rebound.

Highworth equalised after the break after having the better of the second half.

Brinkworth turned their clash with Blunsdon Colt on hits head to take top spot in Division 2, with goals from Martin Sinclair, Oli Benfield and Ronan Hollier securing a 3-1 after they went 1-0 down.

Under 13 Division 3

Highworth Town Juniors T returned to the top of the table with a hard-working 3-1 home victory against Wanborough Juniors.

Matty Bowles put Highworth ahead with a long range effort in the first half with goals from Jake Saunders and Ollie Mulraney sealing the win in the second period.

Sevenfields United played out a 1-1 draw with South Cerney. Cerney took the lead in the first half and it wasn’t until after the break that Sevenfields equalised through a free kick taken by man of the match and captain Keelan Boyce.

Under 14 Division 1

Shaw secured the points in a scrappy game at Salisbury after going 1-0 down to a first half penalty following a handball. Shaw equalised before the break thanks to Nouman Farooq-Bhatti.

The second half saw three more goals for Shaw thanks to Thomas Smith, Ben Paines and a second for Farooq-Bhatti who secured a 4-1 win.

A wonderful overhead kick by Liam Mawson was the standout goal in a 7-1 win for Purton over Shrivenham and Watchfield. Nick Wring hit a hat-trick while Liam Mawson (2), Connor Eggleton and Jake Muncaster all scored for Purton.

Greenmeadow took an early lead but Swindon Rangers made it 1-1 through a Jack Steed tap in. Jack Thatcher then made it 2-1 and looked to have sealed the win but Greenmeadow were awarded a penalty with virtually the last kick of the game to make it 2-2.

Under 14 Division 2 Eldene Rangers beat Blunsdon 5-3 in a hard fought match with goals from Emrah Alman, Shaun Jones, Tyler Cobb, Jack Goodenough and an own goal securing the points for Eldene.

Under 15 Division 2

Croft dominated early on and took the lead through Jordan Jackson before Wootton Bassett equalised.

Jackson restored Croft’s lead with a 25 yard free kick and two further goals from Josh Ayres and Harry Timberell-Titcimbe secured a 4-1 victory.

In a close game Ferndale came back from a goal down at half time to win 4-3 over Highworth thanks to a late winner.

Samie Sahin, Nathaniel Hammerton-Sloan and Jordan Wright (2) all found the net.

Shrivenham maintained top spot with a 7-0 win in a well mannered match away to Wanborough.

Top marksman Liam Glendinning hit four while Edu Armada, Thomas Rackham and Zach Illes scored one each to complete the scoring.

Under 17/18 Division 2

Wanborough picked up their second win of the season with a hard-fought victory over Shrivenham & Watchield.

An early penalty from Jonny Leighfield gave Wanborough the lead, and he added a second before half time. Shrivenham pulled a goal back before James Wood added a third for Wanborough, and despite another Shrivenham goal the team hung for victory.

Old Town United took all three points against league leaders Wootton Bassett A in a very even match. With the score at 2-2, goals from Tom Ballard and Joe Gentleman gave United the lead at half time.

Old Town put the pressure on and Tom Ballard added a second along with Danny Knight's first for the club to secure the win.

Under 15 League Cup

Goals on four and 20 minutes gave Melksham the advantage over Wootton Bassett and earned them a place in the semi-finals.

Sadly, a spectacular overhead scissor kick goal by Bassett's Ross Algar was disallowed.

Goals from Evan Costello, Jacob Green (2) and Antonio Gerrish were enough for Chiseldon to beat Swindon Rangers and progress to the semi finals for the fifth year running.

Under 11 County Cup

Last season's league and cup winners Swindon Rangers U11 A progressed through to the Wiltshire Cup semi final as two goals each for Joe Tyson and Mitchell Cremin saw off ASC Youth 4-0.
