EQUESTRIAN: Success for Beaufort

The Dengie Winter League series, open to Pony Club riders across the British Isles, culminates in a championship final in Warwickshire in the spring.

Glass, a student at Sheldon School at Chippenham, led the qualifier on her new ride, the bay gelding Twyford Calvados.

The pair saw off a challenge from Old Berkshire Hunt Pony Club’s Fi Innerlsey on Smudger Smith.

Avon Vale Hunt Pony Club’s Hannah Robinson, who has also been going well in the national Trailblazers series this winter, was third on Onyx VIII.
