GOALS from Joe Tyson and Mitchell Cremin were enough for Swindon Rangers A to claim the Under 11 Wiltshire County Cup.

Tyson’s individual effort and a neat finish from Mitchell Cremin made sure of a 2-1 victory over Croft Red, even though Jack Leach pulled a goal back from the penalty spot to ensure a grandstand finish.

Due to their appearance in the cup final Rangers were in league action on Thursday night against their B team, and both Tyson and Cremin were on target again to seal a 2-0 victory despite a spirited display from Taylor Burt.

Wroughton defeated Cirencester Town in the Under 12 Division 1 2-1 with goal each for Brandon Duddy and Riegan Cook.

A goal by Ferndale Rodbourne A's Kieran Cozens early in the second half cancelled out Brinkworth Cats’ first-half opener from Ronan Hollier in Under 13 Division 2 But after the break Martin Sinclair headed home a Hollier corner, and Hollier grabbed his second to claim the three points and keep Cats’ promotion hopes alive.

Sevenfields United lost 11-4 away to Cirencester Town after going 9-1 down in the first half in Under 13 Division 3.

Aaron Marvell scored United’s first half goal with Keelan Boyce, Owen Lewis and Liam House, who has just returned from a broken wrist, all registered after the break for Ciren.

Swindon Supermarine took an early lead thanks to a goal from Harvey Michael in Under 14 Division 2.

Alex Cook then added a brace to make the half time score 3-0 to Supermarine.

The second half was a much closer affair with few chances for either side and the game finished Supermarine 3 Brinkworth Cats R 0.

A devastating first-half display from Joe Brooks gave Wanborough a comfortable lead over Pinehurst, with Luke Midwinter, Fraser Gordon and Max Cheesley adding to the striker’s four goals before the break.Pinehurst battled well early in the second half, pulling a goal back, before further goals from Matt Rees, Fraser Gordon to complete his hat trick, Connor Buckenham and Ryan Buckenham sealed the 12-1 win.

Eldene Rangers beat Brinkworth 7-1. Ricci Teixeira put Eldene in front before Brinkworth made it 1-1. Eldene then went on to win with a Tyler Cobb hat-trick and a goal each for Shaun Jones, Emrah Alman and Alfie Stone.

In Under 15 Division 2, Ferndale Rodbourne put in a solid display to go back to the top of the league thanks to a 5-0 home victory against Wootton Bassett Town B.

Jordan Wright (2), Bradley Keene, Nathaniel Hammerton-Sloan and Luke Whetham all hit the net.

Highworth had to be at their best to win the game against Minchinhampton. Ashley Palfrey bagged both of Highworth’s goals in a game which finished 2-1.

Croft found themselves 1-0 down at half time to a spirited Stratton Youth, but a 25 yard free kick from Josh Ayres and a header from James Sims ensured Croft ran out 2-1 winners.

Calne fought back twice only for Wanborough to win the game with a well-struck penalty from Will Hooton 10 minutes from the end in Under 16 Division 2. Hooton's strike was his second goal of the game. Wanborough's other scorer was George Heath.

In Under 16 Division 3, Shaw versus Northern Lights was a good entertaining game with Northern Lights going into a 2-0 lead with one of the goals coming from a Liam Hicks free kick before Shaw pulled two goals back.

Northern Lights went on to win 4-2, their other goal scorers were Liam Hicks and Shane Briggs (2).

After conceding an early goal to Lydiard Youth on Thursday night, Wanborough battled back to take the lead with two goals from Jonny Leighfield in Under 117/18 Division 2.

Wanborough rode their luck in the second half, before Leighfield completed his hat-trick to seal a fourth win in six games.

On Saturday, Hungerford took the lead against Wanborough but an equaliser from Jonny Leighfield saw them level at the break. Further goals were added by Leighfield (from the penalty spot), Mark Jones and Will Brittain, before two late goals from Hungerford made for a tense finish.
