THE parent company of the Wiltshire Times, Newsquest, will sponsor the Wiltshire Road Race League in 2013.
The series will begin on February 3 with the Longleat 10k and end with the Salisbury Half Marathon next October, which will also be hosting the county championships for the distance.
Changes to next year’s format include the merging of the men’s and ladies tables, which will be split into two divisions, the first featuring clubs that finish in the top 10 in 2012.
First division teams finishing outside the top 10 will be relegated and replaced by the top two from the second division.
The next race in the 2012 league is the Cricklade Half Marathon on October 7.
