SWINDON have major concerns over the fitness of teenage star Nick Morris ahead of Monday’s Elite League grand final first leg against Poole.
Morris scored eight paid eleven in Robins’ 55-37 semi-final second-leg victory over Birmingham but crashed heavily in heat 15.
And although he was able to walk off the track shortly afterwards, he is now feeling the effects of a very awkward landing.
Boss Alun Rossiter said: “Nick now has a sore neck and a very stiff back, and he’s also suffered a chipped tooth. I have to say unfortunately he’s a major doubt for Monday.
“We’ll monitor him over the next few days and hopefully he’ll be feeling better, but it’s a big worry for us at this stage.”
Meanwhile, Poole's Polish ace Piotr Pawlicki has been ruled out for both legs of the final.
