DEVIZES 2nd claimed their first victory of the season on the road in Swindon.
The visitors made a sluggish start and were soon behind to a converted try.
But Devizes dominated much of the remainder of the first half, getting themselves on the board when Matt Holloran booted a penalty.
The visitors’ backs impressed and touched down when Chris Barter came into the line to go over in the corner, Swindon’s troubles worsening when their full-back was sent off for throwing a punch.
Number eight Tim Alchin crossed for Devizes’ second try before the interval and, although Holloran missed the conversion, he added a penalty in the second half.
Swindon though, roared back, scoring two tries to take an 18-16 lead.
But with time running outHolloran and Barter combined to send Nick Balls over for the winning try, Holloran adding the conversion.
