WET weather across the country has seen today's local football schedule wiped out.

Chippenham Town's early-kick off in the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division, at home to league leaders Hemel Hempstead Town, was the first to go this morning, while Frome Town's trip to AFC Totton has also been called off.

In the Toolstation League Premier Division, Melksham Town's home clash with Willand Rovers was rained off, while the First Division derby showdown between Corsham Town and Westbury United was also postponed.

Meanwhile, Calne Town's trip to Chard Town, Bradford Town's game at Shrewton United and Warminster Town's clash with Roman Glass St George all fell foul of the elements.

Wootton Bassett Town's game against local rivals Cricklade Town in the Hellenic League Division One West was rained off, as was Malmesbury Victoria's clash with Hook Norton.

In the Sydenhams League Division One, Pewsey Vale's home fixture against Amesbury Town was also postponed.
