INTER Sandgate moved three points clear of The Manor at the foot of Swindon Sunday League Division One with a 2-1 victory over their rock-bottom hosts.

All the goals in a fiery encounter came in the first half. Craig Alexander notched both of Sandgate’s goals with two neat finishes either side of a Blaine Fitzgerald header for the visitors.

Both sides had golden chances to score after the break, with Mark King clearing Fitzgerald’s effort off the line, but the half-time scoreline stood at the final whistle.

Chris Mills scored a hat-trick of headers and Darren Kyle and Chris Rivers also netted in Blyskawica’s 5-4 Division Two win over Wanborough.

In Division Five, Cleeve Tech dominated their clash with RJ Aerials, winning 6-0.

The Cleeve goalkeeper did not have a save to make all game, as Ash Andrews fired a hat-trick for the hosts to move onto 16 goals for the season, and there were also strikes from Nathaniel Harrison, James Arthur and Kieran McCarthy.

Stratton Saints were dumped out of the Knockout Cup quarter-final after losing 3-2 in extra-time to Coleview.

Carl Wheeler and Mark Brown scored for Stratton but goals from John Litton, Connor Goldsworthy and Luke Cordery won it for Coleview.
