SWINDON player Mark Cox remains in the hunt for a PDC tour card following the third day of Q-School.
Both Cox and his fellow Swindon player Jack Tweddell once again failed to reach the last four in Wigan yesterday to earn a card outright, but Cox’ defeat in round four see him pick up three Order of Merit ranking points.
That in addition to the five he picked up on day one leaves him in contention to pick up a tour card through the order of merit, but will need to claim more points today to remain in the hunt.
The final event of Q-School begins at midday, with updates on the progress of Cox and Tweddell at www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk.
