SWINDON Robins will face Lakeside, Birmingham and Peterborough home and away during the first month of the new Elite League season.

The Robins had been due to begin the campaign live on Sky against the Hammers on Monday March 25, but that fixture has now been pencilled in for Thursday April 4.

They travel to the Arena Essex Raceway the following day, before home and away meetings against Birmingham and Peterborough see out April.

Barring the Elite Shield clashes before the start of the season, the first re-match of last season’s Elite League grand final with Poole is at Blunsdon on May 30.

The final fixture of the regular season is a provisional meeting with Lakeside on August 30.
