PAUL Shanley reckons Bradford Town will have to wait to see if their draw with local promotion rivals Calne Town on Wednesday night was two points dropped or a point gained.
In-form Bradford took the lead on the stroke of half-time through Jake Hiscocks before hosts Calne levelled the scores early in the second period, courtesy of James Lye’s header.
“We dominated the start of the game and they did have a period where they boxed us in the second half but we were on top again for the last 20 minutes.
“It was disappointing not to win,” said Bradford manager Shanley.
“But it’s important not to lose to the teams around us and it might feel like two points dropped but at the end of the season, that could be an important draw.”
Nick Ridout hit a hat-trick as Bradford thrashed Welton Rovers 4-0 last weekend, with the hosts putting one into their own net.
Shanley was named First Division Manager of the Month for December and January and said: “We’ve been on a great run but that award is for everyone at the club.
“Picking a side to go out there is the easy job.”
