MARLBOROUGH warmed up nicely for this weekend's South West Vase final with a thumping victory over their local rivals.
Marlborough were keen to avenge their league loss earlier in the season and did so in fine style, running in a total of nine tries.
The home side were missing several first-team regulars, but still dominated proceedings from the go.
Pewsey attacked in stages, mainly through their back row, but this was cut down at source time and time again by back row Jonny Mantle, Jack Lynd and Will Turner.
Fly-half Tim Pierce looked to bring the centres into the game where possible, with Marlborough enjoying the better of the exchanges in the loose.
The pressure soon bought the first try, as Chris Patterson beat a handful of players to score in the corner.
Shortly afterwards, Lotu Ngungtau crossed for a try from a quick tap, only to be called back by the referee. However he took the tap again, and crossed again, to register Marlborough's second score.
In the second half, Marlborough ran riot, scoring seven tries, including another for Ngungtau, two for winger Alex Sawbridge, one for Pierce and one for Lynd.
Marlborough host Drybrook in the South West Vase final at The Common on Saturday (2pm).
