SWIMMING: Chippenham time it right

CHIPPENHAM swimmers achieved five regional qualifying times at the last day of the Wiltshire Youth Championships on Saturday. Matt Hare, Peter Holden and Joe Bailey all qualified for the South West region 200m Individual Medley (IM), while Cameron Perkins qualified for the 200m breaststroke and Jack Cook the 100m freestyle.
In the county age groups Amy Hall took gold in the 200m butterfly, Hare silver in the 200m fly (third in the junior championships) and bronze 200m IM.
Emma Holloway won silver in the 100m freestyle, Jack Cook silver in the 100m freestyle and Joe Bailey silver in the 50m backstroke.
There were also good swims from Bryony Cairns, Chloe May, James Tucker, John Branston and Matt Cruse.
