RUGBY: Calne 35 Bradford on Avon 11

BRADFORD were hit by injuries as Calne claimed a crucial bonus-point success to edge away from the relegation zone.

Adam Welch scored a superb individual try for the home side, Tom Morten also touching down after breaking away from a maul.

Jon Crowe evaded tackles to go over and Matt Kelly stretched to score another try as Martin McCaffrey powered over from close range. Kelly converted all five tries.

For Bradford, Tom Wheatley scored a try in the opening 10 minutes after good build-up play, but suffered injuries to second row Dan Wakefield (fractured wrist) and full-back Seb Benson (neck).

Centre Chaz Elton added two penalties.
