SWIMMING: Millward and Davies in top form at Leeds

WILTSHIRE Paralympic swimmers Stephanie Millward and Chloe Davies both claimed podium positions at the British Gas International Meet in Leeds tonight.

Davies, 14, who claimed two podium places on the opening day of the event yesterday, finished third in the women's multi-classification 200m freestyle final with 880 points (2:20.37).

Corsham's five-time London 2012 medallist Stephanie Millward finished third in the women's multi-classification 100m butterfly final with 748 points (1:13.52).

Davies' teammate Aaron Moores was eighth in the men's multi-classification 200m freestyle final with 622 points in 2:20.11.

Melksham's Rachel Williams (Bath University) was fifth in the women's 400m individual medley final in 4:49.35 as Swindon-born Hannah Miley clinched victory and was also eighth in the 100m backstroke final in 1:03.33.
