LILYWHITES boss Athony Brown tasted success for the first time as he took charge as Town edged to victory at Bremhill View.
The home side went ahead on 12 minutes when Glenn Armstrong fired home and nearly doubled the lead eight minutes later as Dan Lardner's effort hit a post.
However, Calne did go two goals ahead just before the half-hour mark when former Chippenham Town defender Steve Casey poked home from close range after a corner.
Elmore got themselves back into it shortly before half time as home keeper Steve Allison aved, but the ball fell to Tom Kelly, who fired in.
However, just before the hour mark, teenager Rory Worthington rounded the keeper and scored the hosts' third after a pass from James Lye.
Elmore pulled a goal back with time running out, but Calne narrowly missed a fourth as Baboucarr Tourey's lob struck the woodwork.
