CHIPPENHAM Park stretched their unbeaten run in the Toolstation League First Division to three games with victory on Tuesday night.
The Hardenhuish park side, who were without a game at the weekend, inflicted a 17th league defeat of the campaign on struggling managerless Portishead, who have recently received help from former Bristol Rovers, Wimbledon and Wales football boss Bobby Gould, who lives in the town.
Mark Nolan scored the only goal as Park moved up two places to 15th in the table.
