STOCKTON & Codford, who were crowned Junior Cup winners in 2012 and who are currently second in the Salisbury League Premier Division, remain on course for another bid for glory after seeing off the challenge of James Goddard’s Trowbridge Rangers outfit.

Rangers were rueing eight minutes of added time which allowed Stockton to score a late equaliser and force extra time where their outscored Rangers to claim a 4-2 win.

After a goalless first half it was Rangers who opened the scoring through top scorer Dan Moore.

A second from Moore looked to have booked an unexpected place in the semi-finals for Goddard’s side.

With 10 minutes remaining Stockton started their revival as they reduced the arrears and them deep in stoppage time they fashioned an equaliser to take the game to an extra 30 minutes when they added two more goals to leave the Trowbridge League third division visitors thinking what could have been.
