PEWSEY Vale suffered their second defeat at the hands of title-chasing opposition in four days last night as they were beaten at Andover Town.
Lewis Taylor's men, who lost 3-0 at second-placed Petersfield Town last weekend went down 2-0 at league leaders Andover last night, with former Calne Town man Claudio Herbert grabbing both goals.
Vale, who are sixth in the Sydenhams League Division One, host Amesbury Town next weekend.
Meanwhile, Malmesbury Victoria returned to action after an enforced sabbatical of more than six weeks.
Gareth Davies' men travelled to Clanfield but slipped to a 1-0 defeat in Oxfordshire.
The Vics travel to Hook Norton next weekend.
