CORSHAM Town stretched their unbeaten run in the Toolstation League First Division to seven matches last weekend as they saw off promotion-chasers Cribbs.

Nick Holton grabbed a brace whilst Jackson Hamilton fired home his first Corsham goal as Trevor Rawlings’ men ran out 3-1 winners at the Southbank.

Meanwhile, Chippenham Park showed no ill effects from their heavy defeat at the hands of league leaders Bradford Town last week as they bounced straight back to winning ways at Oldland Abbotonians.

Adam Shipman and Ryan Campbell got the goals as Dave Ferris’ men notched up a 2-0 triumph, taking their record to six wins from their last seven games.

However, their was disappointment for Devizes Town as they lost 2-1 at county rivals Westbury United, with debutant Lee Himsworth grabbing the visitors’ consolation goal.

A brace from Glenn Armstrong also wasn’t enough to prevent Calne Town suffering a 3-2 defeat at Wellington.

In the Premier Division, young substitute Harry Waylen marked his Melksham Town debut with a last-gasp equaliser to save his side’s blushes against bottom-of-the-table Bishop Sutton.

Darren Perrin’s men trailed 2-1, with Dan Kovacs grabbing the hosts’ first goal, before 17-year-old Waylen netted at the death to salvage a 2-2 draw.

In the Hellenic League, Wootton Bassett Town’s clash with Kidlington and Malmesbury Victoria’s trip to Hook Norton were both postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

Pewsey Vale’s Sydenhams League meeting with Amesbury Town was also off.
