TROWBRIDGE Town Reserves manager Dave Jenkins was the catalyst in his team's 4-0 victory over Holt which booked the second division side their place in the Spring Cup quarter finals.

Trowbridge took a 2-1 lead into their first round second leg clash against Ben Hogg’s third division leaders but they had to wait until the second half before sealing their 6-1 aggregate success.

After the break Jenkins, who was making a rare appearance calmly, rounded the Holt keeper to put his team in front.

Jenkins doubled the Bees' lead when he was on hand to tap the ball home after the villagers keeper had spilled a Sean Meer thunderbolt.

Barry Holloway added number three before Jenkins completed his hat-trick with an excellent finish into the top right hand corner.

Bratton 2 Zeals 4 (Zeals win 10-7 on aggregate)

THIRD Division Zeals took a one-goal advantage into theirsecond leg clash at second division Bratton and although Jason Carter’s side eventually booked their spot in the quarter-finals thanks to a 4-2 win in the second leg, their progression was anything but easy.

Zeals may have gone into the game on the back of a 6-5 win, but their lead was quickly wiped out as Dave Jones got Bratton back on level terms.

Zeals restored parity on the day through Jose Gualda to regain the upper hand in the tie but they were pegged backed when Liam Griffiths put Bratton 2-1 ahead on day.

With three quarters of the contest gone the scores were locked at 7-7 which set up a fantastic second half that saw Zeals bag three more goals to book their spot in the last eight.

A second for Gualda got Zeals level at 2-2 but ahead in the tie before an own goal from Kevin Balchin and a late effort from James Weeks when Bratton were looking for a way back into the game killed off the hosts chances of turning things around.
