CHAMPIONS Bradford Town were forced to settle for a point yesterday as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Welton Rovers.

Paul Shanley's men, who were presented with the Toolstation League First Division trophy after clinching the title on Tesday night, fell behind in the second period when Welton's Sam Cottle netted a long-range free-kick.

But Bradford goal machine Sam Jordan ensured that there wasn't a cloud cast over his side's title celebrations as he equalised with his 74th goal of the season.

Meanwhile, it was honours even as Westbury United and Warminster Town met at Meadow Lane.

Tom Golledge headed visitors Warminster in front but Mark Young fired home to make it 1-1 after his initial penalty was saved by keeper Carl Crabtree.

Corsham Town suffered a 3-0 humbling at Chippenham Park.

Mark Robinson, Shane Blackmore and and own goal saw off Trevor Rawlings' men.

In the Premier Division, Melksham Town came out on the right end of a five-goal thriller as they won 3-2 at Radstock Town.

Dave Thompson and Leigh Rogers scored before Gary Higdon grabbed Melksham's third of the afternoon.
