GOATACRE will be hoping to have Liam Dawson at their disposal when they entertain Cheltenham tomorrow in Premier Two.

The Hampshire all-rounder is on the road to recovery following a groin injury and planning a return to county action next month.

And Goatacre captain Brad Dawson, Liam’s brother, is hopeful that the 24-year-old will be fit enough to face the Gloucestershire side.

Cheltenham will arrive at Goatacre sitting one place and six points above the Wiltshire side and on the back of an eight run reverse to Thornbury last Saturday.

Dawson’s men, on the other hand, will be looking to build on their seven run success at basement side Glastonbury.

Lechlade will be looking to reclaim top spot in Glos/Wilts Division when they host mid-table Warminster at the Manor Ground.

Joe Breet’s side currently sit in second place, just four points behind leader Rockhampton, who entertain Swindon.

And after bouncing back from their nine wicket reverse to the County Ground men with a five wicket success at Chippenham, Lechlade will be hoping to maintain that form against the team that sits in sixth place.

Nationwide House will be looking to make it two wins in a row when they head to Winsley in the Wiltshire Division.

Captain Russell Arkley missed his side’s first win of the campaign last weekend and stand-in skipper Jon Clarke led from the front in their nine-wicket success over Marlborough with an unbeaten 128.

As Nationwide were securing their first victory of the season, their hosts were also in fine form as they crushed Calne by 10 wickets.

Purton will be looking to bounce back from their 38-run defeat to leaders Great Bedwyn but they face another tough test when they entertain second-placed Burbage and Easton Royal.

Captain Elliot Hill felt that his side snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against Great Bedwyn and has called on his team to close games out.
