CHIPPENHAM kickboxer Annabelle Shoob is celebrating after clinching the WRSA Pro Am Ladies 55.5kg British title.
Shoob, who won the World Ring Sports Association Pro- Am English title at 57.5kg earlier this year, defeated opponent Georgia Grosvenor over seven rounds to clinch the belt at Norton Parish Hall in Worcester.
She said: “I feel on top of the world right now and couldn’t be happier. I usually fight at a heavier weight, but I have been weighing lighter therefore I chose to carry on competing at a lighter weight which I make comfortably.’’
The fighter, coached by Steve and Annie Humphrey and sponsored by Wilsons estate agent and DS Smith, is aiming to fight next in November, possibly for a Five Nations or Commonwealth title.
