NORDIC GP silver medallist Peter Kildemand sets his sights on a full-time World Championship berth after reaching his second final in as many Grand Prix appearances this year at Vojens on Saturday.

The Robins number one, a wildcard this weekend, needs another podium finish in the GP Challenge at Lonigo, Italy, this coming Saturday to secure a 2015 series place.

Kildemand made it onto the podium in Denmark as he finished second behind Andreas Johnsson., while Robins skipper Troy Batchelor finished fourth in the final behind Krzysztof Kasprzak and added 13 points to his Championship standings to leave him in eighth overall.

Kildemand said: “I’ve had two GPs and I’ve got into the final both times. Tonight was a great racing track and the crowd were awesome. I’m really pleased with it.

“I’m really looking forward to doing the GPs. The Challenge is what I am focused on now. It’s going to be a tough one – only the top three go through. I need to have a good day.”

Kildemand will be going for the European Championship title next weekend, needing to overhaul Emil Sayfutdinov’s three-point lead to claim the title.
