WITH leaders Castle Combe in cup action, Freshford United took over at the top by maintaining their 100 per cent record with a 7-0 victory at Trowbridge Town Reserves.
Goals from Tom Rooney, Mark Gerrish and Steve Roddy gave Freshford a 3-0 lead at the break against their hosts who had Louis Stillman sent off after 35 minutes.
A second from Roddy made it 4-0 and he completed his hat-trick for 5-0 before goals from Chris Maskrey and Dan Fowler who also had a first-half strike ruled out made up the leaders seven-goal haul.
