CHIPPENHAM Park chief Dave Ferris thinks that his team didn’t get what they deserved against Hengrove Athletic last weekend.
Park suffered last-gasp heartbreak as the visitors struck in injury time to take all three points at Hardenhuish Park.
“I don’t think we did enough to win the game but I felt for my lads because they’d put a lot of work in and certainly felt they should have come away with a point,” said Ferris.
“Of the seven games we’ve lost, six have been by the odd goal.
“But we can’t look backwards - we have to keep looking forward. We’ve got some difficult games coming up, including Saturday’s FA Vase tie at Ardley (United).”
