HARDENHUISH School Year Eight pupil Conor Irwin’s recent success in a Trampolining and Double Mini Tramp (DMT) International Competition last month saw him making it through to the finals for both events in the UK league.

Held at Cambridge University at the beginning of December, Irwin scooped second place in the trampolining final and finished third in DMT.

At a November competition, he had finished ninth out of 21 competitors, mainly from Europe, in the 9-16 age group of the DMT event.

But he narrowly missed out on a medal by 0.07 points to finish fourth overall in the trampolining event.
