SAM Collier will welcome back six familiar faces for Shrivenham’s must-win game against fellow strugglers Cheltenham Saracens tomorrow.

After conceding 13 goals in two chastising Hellenic League Premier Division matches, the Barrington Park outfit will be looking to put 11 points between themselves and their basement side visitors.

And the Shrivvy player-boss will be hoping that the return of Sam Packer, John Rees, Enoch Boateng, Adam Corcoran, Craig Bowden and Steve Alford will see a change in fortunes.

“We have just got on with it this week,” Collier said. “It has been tough, but we know we have to start getting as many points as we can.

“The fact of the situation is that the bottom four teams get relegated and they go down because they were the worst four teams in that league throughout the season.

“We have got to win tomorrow – there is no two ways about it.”

Shrivenham scraped a 2-1 victory at Saracens earlier in the campaign and Collier will be pleased if his team could do the same again.

“We got lucky that day, it could have quite easily been a draw or they could have won,” he said.

The Barrington Park outfit, however, are unlikely to be able to field new signing Craig Mooney after he returned to the area following the completion of his scholarship in Miami.

Highworth Town will be looking to build on their recent cup successes when they make the journey to league leaders Kidlington.

Following their progression to the last 32 of the FA Vase John Fisher’s men then edged their way into the Wiltshire Cup semi-finals with an extra-time win over Melksham Town.

Wootton Bassett Town will look to put more distance between themselves and the bottom when they entertain Abingdon United.

Purton will be aiming to close in on the Division One West top four when they host basement side Letcombe.

New College will be hoping to maintain their recent good form when they take on struggling Wantage Town at the Webb’s Wood Stadium, while Gareth Davies’ Fairford Town make the trip to Clanfield.
