WILTSHIRE wrapped up a 66-run victory over Herefordshire in the Unicorns Championship Western Division at South Wilts CC today.
The home side, holding a 180-run second innings advantage after day two, immediately got on the front foot on the final day as Neil Clark (110) and Patrick Greishaber (46) added 126 for the sixth wicket before the final five wickets fell for 24 runs to leave Wiltshire at 260 all out.
Defending a lead of 330, home bowler Tahir Afridi got stuck into the Herefordshire batting, removing four of the top five batsmen.
Chris Whittock scored 58 and Will Barrett made an unbeaten 70 for the visitors, but Afridi ended with 6-88 and Joe King took 3-73 as WIltshire ended their resistance at 264.
