SWINDON Robins team manager Alun Rossiter has called on supporters to get behind his new-look side after the club unveiled season ticket details for what promises to be an exciting 2017 campaign.

The Robins completed their rider roster for next year’s revamped SGB Premiership campaign earlier this week with deals for three rookie riders, Danish duo Emil Grondal and Mikkel Brondum Andersen, alongside British teenager Zach Wajtknecht.

Australian Speedway Grand Prix star Jason Doyle will again skipper the Swindon side next season and fellow Aussie Nick Morris has also retained, with the team completed by two more new faces, Brit Adam Ellis and Frenchman David Bellego.

Changes are afoot off-the-track too, with the Robins gearing up for the start of a new era as they move to their new state-of-the-art stadium at Blunsdon, which is expected to be ready to host race nights from June next year.

“We’ve got a fresh team, things changed at the AGM this year so it’s looking like being an exciting season,” said Rossiter.

“Hopefully the fans will come out and support the team. We’re in the unknown but with the new stadium going ahead, it’s exciting times for everyone.”

The club have announced special prices for supporters who purchase before Sunday, January 8, 2017.

Season tickets purchased prior to that date are priced at £250 for adults and £195 for senior citizens and students, with a programme included at each home meeting. Season tickets for children aged 12 to 16 cost just £35.

After January 8, prices will rise to £265 for adults, £205 for concessions and £45 for children.

Season tickets will be valid for all 17 home meetings next year and supporters can choose to use those meetings however they wish.

Season ticket holders will also receive rain-off text alerts for both home and away meetings.

Supporters can buy their season tickets online using the secure PayPal system on the club’s online store. For those that prefer, postal applications are also accepted after downloading an application form.
