DEVIZES Town weren’t able to build on last weekend’s 3-1 win over local rivals Calne Town in Toolstation First Division as they slipped to a 2-0 home defeat against Hengrove Athletic.
The visitors got both of their goals late in the first half, Rhys Hickery opening the scoring before Asa White added the second.
Malmesbury Victoria played out an uneventful 0-0 draw against Chippenham Park on a heavy pitch at the Flying Monk.
Ryan Tyrell went closest to scoring with a free-kick but he was kept out by visiting goalkeeper Sam Thompson.
Ed Wilkins also had a chance to break the deadlock but he failed to do so as his effort required nothing more than a routine save.
Calne saw their game at Warminster Town postponed because of a frozen pitch, while Corsham Town were without a game this weekend.
