BRADFORD Town saw their seven-game winning streak brought to an end by a 4-1 defeat at Toolstation League Premier Division leaders Bristol Manor Farm.

The visitors were downed by goals from Dean Stamp, Troy Simpson, Pete Sheppard and Jamie Turner, with substitute Mark Wall notching the reply for Danny Greaves' men.

Both sides had a man sent off, Bradford substitute Laurent Davis-Wilson seeing red, with Farm goalkeeper Ashley Clarke also ordered off for handling outside his area.

Gary Higdon's 68th-minute winner earned Melksham Town all three points from their trip to mid-table Cribbs, keeping the second-place hopes of Darren Perrin's side alive.

Dan Heavey replied for the home side.

Jamie Jordan scored a quick-fire second-half double to hand Westbury United all three points from their derby clash at Devizes Town.

Jordan netted twice shortly after the hour mark as United climbed to 12th in the table.

In the Hellenic League Premier Division, Royal Wootton Bassett Town were whacked 6-0 by title-chasing Bracknell Town.

The hosts took an early lead through Adam Cornell before Seb Bowerman’s cross was met by Dave Hancock, who was able to slide in at the far post to make it 2-0.

Before the end of the first half, Cornell was able to add a third when he latched onto Bowerman’s cutback.

The second half was more of the same, with TJ Bohane, who started the season at Bassett, added a fourth with a cool finish following a sweeping move from the hosts.

Jamie McClurg was allowed to wriggle his way through the Bassett defence and add a fifth before Bowerman turned from provider to scorer to complete the romp.

Pewsey Vale were beaten 2-1 at home by Tadley Calleva in Sydenhams League Division One.
