PEWSEY Vale boss Ali Tuttle reckons his side are still making things hard for themselves despite registering a third straight win in Hellenic League Division One West.

Saturday's 3-2 win at Woodstock Town was secured only after Vale trailed 2-1 having opened the scoring through Liam Edmondson.

Oliver Hawkins put the home side ahead with goals either side of half-time, but quick-fire strikes from James Blake and Harrison Lowe sealed the comeback success.

Tuttle said: "Three weeks ago we set our stall out to put a bit of a run together and to try and get into that top three and we've won three in a row.

"We're just not finishing teams off at the moment. A lot of chances are being created in front of goal but we were a goal up on Saturday, then 2-1 down before we came back to win it.

"We've still struggling to get our best side out week in week out but hopefully we've got a good little bit of form together.''

Vale were due back in action on Wednesday night as they faced the difficult task of defeating Premier Division Thatcham Town in the Hellenic Floodlit Cup.
