Shrivenham have lost the lead in Division One of the Indoor Cricket League leaving Asians looking favourites for the Division One title.

Asians saw off Wootton Bassett by three wickets in the final over.

Raj Samant hit consecutive sixes to see them home after Jas Chahal had earlier taken 3-14 to help dismiss Wootton Bassett for 99.

Shrivenham themselves were beaten by a resurgent Nationwide who eased home by two wickets with three balls to spare.

It’s a similar situation at the top of Division Two, with Wroughton and Swindon 2nd locked together, hotly pursued by Wanborough.

Swindon 2nd, having defeated Wroughton the previous week, suffered a setback when Wanborough chased down 116 for victory, thanks chiefly to Nick Stacey with 48 not out.

Wroughton recovered form their defeat with a three-wicket defeat of Faringdon.

Despite Andy Liddiard’s 34 Faringdon were bowled out for 106 and Wroughton batted soundly to win in the final over.

Swindon 3rd continue to sweep all before them in Division Three, preserving their unbeaten record by defeating Ramsbury by two wickets.

Minety pulled out of their recent slump when they beat doomed Cirencester by four wickets, Dan Horton top scoring with 27 not out.

The top two in Division Four, Woodlands and South West, recorded easy wins over Motorola and Wanborough 2nd respectively, leaving the title to be decided when the two clash on March 1.
