MARK Draycott has left Swindon Supermarine for Southern League Premier rivals Didcot Town.

A former FA Youth Cup record breaker as a teenager at Swindon Town, Draycott, pictured right, scored six league goals for the Hunts Copse outfit last season.

He featured for Didcot in their friendly against Reading on Wednesday.

Mark Collier is not too despondant about his loss though.

“He’s done well for us,” he said. “But we signed Mark Barnes from Hitchin, so we’re not short in the forward department.”

Meanwhile, Marine have been drawn away to Abingdon United in the Southern League Cup.

The tie will be played in the week commencing October 26.
