MARCUS Allen drove a tactical race to win the Castle Combe Formula Ford 1600 Championship race in his Class B Swift SC92 at the Dunlop Great and British Festival Race Meeting at the circuit over the weekend, writes CHRIS JAMES.

Yatton Keynell's Jason Cooper extended his overall championship lead with victory in Class D, 11th overall, with his Ford Fiesta, while Freshbrook’s Wayne Osborne brought his Ford Puma home 21st.
The two 20-minute BARC Westfield Sportscar Series races were won by Colerne’s Chris Davidson, from pole position and Russell Small of Birmingham.
Three 20-minute races for the BARC/Dunlop Sportmaxx Production Cup were won by John Allison of Beverley, Greatworth's Martin Wallbank and Leyton Clarke also from Greatworth all driving Vauxhall Astra VXRs.

The 75-minute Radical UK Cup, saw victory go to Derek Johnston of Bunny Hill and Stuart Moseley from St Neots who shared a Radical SR8.
The two 20-minute BMW CSL Cup races were both won by Dan Stringfellow of Glossop in a BMW E46 M3.
