VETERAN Rudi Deitrich topped the field by a large margin in the recent Golden Carp match held on Walters Lake.
The 84-year-old amassed 71lbs 8oz of carp all caught on the meat from the South Cerney venue to see off nearest rival, Eric Bizley (40lb 14ozs). John Hale took third (24lb 12oz).
Peatmoor juniors weighed in 21lbs 14.5ozs and Liden juniors 7lbs 15oz in the inter-club match.
Top individual was Tony Leach of Peatmoor with 6lbs 2.5ozs.
Runner-up was Jonathan Munn of Peatmoor (4lbs 15.5oz) and in third with 4lbs 9oz was Mathew Freeman of Peatmoor, with Anthony Gaylard (3lbs 6oz) fourth. Top weight from Liden juniors was Sam Nobbs with 2lbs 8oz.
