CROFT Juniors B led the way in the North Wilts League at the weekend - scoring 17 times in their victory over Northern Lights S.

Josh West’s double hat-trick spearheaded the win with Brad Ford notching five and Liam Flanagan four.

Ben Pinchon also got his name on the scoresheet in Croft’s emphatic success Under 16 League Cup AFC Barbury secured a 3-1 win away to Tetbury Town, with goals from Jack Windell, Daniel Preston and Jamie Pidgeon.

Under 15 County Cup Shaw A progressed into the third round of the Wiltshire Cup for the first time with a tight 4-3 win over Ramsbury. Shaw dominated the majority of the game, with Dan Johnson opening the scoring before a half- volley from 30 yards by Kyle Gaskin was knocked into the net. Ramsbury were 3-2 ahead early in the second half until Bobby Gale pulled back an equaliser and Ezra Martin netted the winner.

In a one-sided game, Devizes Town beat Greenmeadow B 12-1.

Under 15 Division Three Wanborough beat Hungerford Town 3-2. Hungerford took the lead from a corner in the first minute, before Jonny Leighfield finished a goal-mouth scramble for the equaliser. Wanborough grew in confidence and went ahead when Leighfield steered in James Cole’s cross, but Hungerford levelled before half time. It took a sublime chip from Leighfield to seal the win for Wanborough.

Under 14 Division One Croft Juniors A saw off Wootton Bassett Town 6-3. Croft opened the scoring with George Skinner's first goal of the season before Bassett notched a quick reply. Two goals from Matt Sprules and a Tyler Rudman hat-trick saw Croft storm into a 6-1 lead before Bassett scored two consolation goals.

Under 14 Division Two Eldene Rangers took the lead against Avonvale, thanks to a fantastic header from Liam Clark.

Avonvale managed to pull level in the second half before Eldene went ahead again through Liam Alford, but Avonvale snatched a late equaliser to end the game 2-2.

Bassett Rangers enjoyed a 3-1 win over South Cerney. Myles Gooden scored on his debut, with further goals from Johnny Coppock and Callum Garlick.

Under 13 Division One Swindon Robins picked up all three points with a 4-1 win against Purton, with goals from Lawrence Rees, Samuel Thomas, an own goal and Connor Holmes.

Under 13 Division Two Highworth Town Juniors T maintained their recent good form, winning 4-2 against second-placed Croft Juniors. Highworth took a two-goal lead before Croft came back to equalise with two goals from James Sims, but Highworth finished the stronger with two further goals. The scorers for Highworth were Josh Dibble (2), Amara Holgate and Dan Mugford Swindon Rangers were in fine form as they put six past FC Abbeymeads. Goals from Luke Neves, Ollie Hunt and Ben Holley (2) ensured Rangers held a comfortable 4-0 lead at half-time, and Charley Gillett’s second-half brace secured the three points.

Under 12 Division One Eldene Rangers took a 3-1 first half lead against Lydiard Youth B, thanks to goals from Jake Adlem, Tyler Cobb and Charlie O'Brien. Lydiard had the better of the second half, however, and ran out 6-3 winners.

Highworth Town Juniors H got back to winning ways against Wanborough. Goals from Max Jenkins, Alex Light (2), Harry Mills, Reece Cobb and Sam Downs sealed a 6-1 victory. Max Cheesley got Wanborough’s consolation after a determined run and shot.

FC Abbeymeads recorded an emphatic victory, scoring six without reply against Lydiard Youth A.

Jack Uzzell scored the first three goals for Abbeymeads and further strikes came from Lewis Newman, Aiden Millar and Jake O’Neill.

Under 12 Division Two Highworth Town Juniors T travelled to Fairford Youth and emerged 5-2 winners. Fairford scored first, but Highworth responded quickly with a thunderous strike from Reece Snowden. After the break Highworth asserted their superiority with goals from Louis French (2), Sam Cheesley and Jack Heard.

Under 12 Division Three Wroughton Youth hosted Greenmeadow P. Malcolm Pinnegar gave the visitors the lead in the first few minutes, with James Webb scoring soon after. Ben Hillier pulled one back but. Greenmeadow took a 4-1 lead into the break, as James Webb completed his hat-trick. Greenmeadow finished the match as 8-1 winners, with two more goals from Webb, one from Jake Robertson and the last from Josh Harding.

Under 11 Division One After going behind early in their game, Greenmeadow A fought back against a determined Hungerford Town Juniors side to win 4-1, with a well-taken hat-trick from Mason Lach and one from Miles Jolliffe.

Under 11 Division Two Croft Juniors recorded their first league win of the season by edging out home side Highworth Town Juniors H 5-4. Croft were 3-1 clear in the first 10 minutes thanks to further goals from Louis O'Shea, Jake Meeus-Jones and Dom Waddell. By half time the score was 5-3, as O'Shea completed his hat-trick. Croft held on throughout the second period.

Under 11 Division Three Penhill Allstars took the honours against Highworth Town Juniors T, winning 2-1. Jaden Thompson scored Highworth’s goal.

A hat-trick from Morgan Buckle contributed to a fine away victory for league leaders Shrivenham & Watchfield against Stratton Youth. A brace from Nick Moore and a goal from man of the match Bradley Marsh completed the scoring.

Under 11 Division Four Brinkworth Cats cruised into a 9-0 lead at half-time against Penhil Knights. In the second period Penhill got one back through Bradley Marvell and both teams scored two more goals before the final whistle, with Penhill's scorers being Josh Orchard and Callum Goldsmith-Newman.

Under 10 Division Two Wroughton Youth A narrowly lost to Stratton Youth 2-1, with Wroughton’s goal coming from Riegan Cook.

Wootton Bassett Town A overcame Old Town Utd with a goal in each half. Lewis Ward and Jordan Wright-Thompson got the goals, but the hero for Bassett was keeper Conor Chivers, who saved a penalty with the score at 1-0.

In a very close game, Hungerford Town Juniors scored first on the break against Lydiard Youth.

With both teams playing good football, Charlie Emmerson scored for Lydiard to even the score. Lydiard then applied lots of pressure but couldn't beat the Hungerford keeper and it was Hungerford who scored to win the game.

Under 10 Division Three The local derby between Wootton Bassett Town B and Purton B ended all square as the teams shared four goals. Both Bassett's goals were scored by Declan Cox to continue his hot streak in front of goal.

In a good first half Greenmeadow were on top against Highworth Town Juniors J and went ahead through Oliver Mathews.

In the second half a goal from Lee Giles was followed by two more from Oliver Mathews, the last goal a fantastic strike into the top of net.

Lee Murphy scored the fifth goal for Greenmeadow, but Highworth came back strongly with the final two goals.

Under 10 Division Four Highworth Town Juniors T managed a confident 3-0 win over Calne B, with goals from Jack Birch (2) and Glen Chalmers.

Under 9 Division One Stratton Juniors A beat Croft Juniors 5-4. Harry Trueman scored the winner for Stratton in the last minute. The other Stratton goals were scored by Jared Hayward, Nathan Rivers (2) and Finley Merchant, whilst Daniel Skinner and Harry Timbrell each got a brace for Croft as they lost their unbeaten run.

Lydiard Youth ran out 2-1 winners over Highworth Town Juniors H. Lydiard went behind before battling back with goals from Tommy Chilton and Ben Pugsley.

Hamsa Amaan netted the first two goals for Purton A against Greenmeadow. Mitchell Cremin added a third before half time, but Greenmeadow came out fighting after the break. Purton’s Adam Thorn scored two more before Greenmeadow pulled one back. Jack Harper and Mitchell Cremin completed the scoring.

Swindon Robins eased past Ferndale Rodbourne 5-1. Ferndale's consolation came from Kyle Meader-Harris.

Under 9 Division Two Lambourn Sports beat Fairford Youth 2-1 with a brace by Declan Rackham.

Under 9 Division Three Highworth Town Juniors T couldn't find the equaliser that they deserved against Swindon Rangers B and lost out 2-1 despite Eloise Hayward’s strike.

Under 9 Division Four Tetbury Town and Purton B drew 4-4. Purton took the lead, but Tetbury led 4-1 at half-time. Scorers for Purton were Jay Crabbe with a hat-trick and Louis Brown with the other.

Ryan Sutton scored his second consecutive hat-trick as Shrivenham and Watchfield beat Eldene Rangers 4-1. Rowan Maslin scored the other goal.
