MARTIN Woodhouse says that his side folded after they conceded two late goals to Kidlington on Tuesday night.
“We were the best side for all of seventy minutes and then they got a goal,” said the Malmesbury Victoria caretaker boss.
“Our attittude has been great recently but it was the first time that I saw heads drop and we ended up conceding two sloppy goals.”
Defeat by Kidlington was the Vics’ second home loss in three days after they were beaten 2-1 at home to Wantage Town on Saturday.
Mick Scarff’s goal and Woodhouse’s penalty save weren’t enough to stop Malmesbury going down to a Tom Austin free-kick and a deflected Sean McKeon effort.
The Vics chief revealed that he has made moves to sign a new goalkeeper to replace himself.
