MEL Gingell was pleased after his side recorded their third win in five games on Tuesday night.
Ben Moore’s goal was enough to seal a 1-0 win for Corsham at Brislington.
“We’ve picked up almost as many points in the last few games as we have all season,” said manager Gingell.
“It was all about grinding out a result on Tuesday and I felt that we did that well.
“They didn’t really have many chances and it was a good result for us.
“It lets the lads get their foot in the door a little bit and gives us something to hold on to.”
Winger Robbie Burton, who was a free agent, made his debut and set up Moore’s winner in the second-half.
Striker Matty Chamberlain, who previously played with Adam Heath at Salisbury City, also featured for Corsham.
Ex-Cheltenham Town winger Aaron Ledgister has also joined Corsham.
The left-sider has played at Chippenham Town and also had a spell at Evesham United and Wootton Bassett Town this season.
Corsham host Wellington on Saturday: “We owe them one for beating us 7-0 in September,” said Gingell.
