Wiltshire will contest the MCCA Knockout Trophy next month after scraping past Staffordshire to reach the final yesterday.

After posting 280-6, Joe Breet's county side had to contend with a spirited fightback from the hosts but eventually skittled Staffordshire in the final over to win by just two runs.

Ed Kilbee hit an impressive 126 while fellow opener Jayden Levvitt weighed in with 76.

Tahir Afridi claimed four wickets while Owen Alsop took three.

Wiltshire will take on Cumberland, with the winner claiming the trophy, on August 29.
