Frome Town were unable to make it three games unbeaten as two second half goals saw them beaten at home by new Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division table-toppers Leamington last night.

The game was a stalemate up until the 70th minute when the pendulum swung the visitors' way.

Frome defender Tom Evans picked up his second booking of the match and was sent off for the second time this season.

Shortly afterwards, Leamington's Richard Batchelor cut the ball back from the dead ball line and Tom Berwick was left with an easy header to make it 1-0.

Then, with nine minutes remaining, the visitors made the game safe when James Mace netted with a low strike.

Darren Perrin's side travel to summer signings Nat Auckland and Jamie Lyons' former club Larkhall Athletic in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup this weekend.
