HELLENIC LEAGUE: Shrivvy lose fifth game in a row

SHRIVENHAM'S miserable recent run in the Hellenic Premier Division continued last night with a 4-1 home humbling at the hands of high-flying Wantage Town.

Shrivvy took the lead early on from the penalty spot but were quickly pegged back when Witney levelled in the 15th minute.

And it quickly went from bad to worse for Michael McNally’s second-bottom side when they conceded three more times, including a penalty, to lose for the fifth successive game.

Shrivenham will hope to bounce back when they travel to Reading Town on Saturday.
