Forget playing on the old banjo it's ukuleles that are topping the bill

Ukulele playing has become increasingly popular, and a new amateur group was formed last year in Ashton Keynes, between Swindon and Cirencester. They are a mixture of ages and skills, ranging from
complete beginners to slightly more experienced players. They are now looking for more members. Don't worry if you don't have a ukulele, as they are more than happy to let you try out their Ukes
before you buy one. If you don't play but would like to go along and sing - then they would welcome singers too. They are a very friendly small group, more concerned with enjoyment than being
technically brilliant. All the local music shops have good ukuleles from about £29. So it's a very cheap way of playing some fun music.
