ONE must always be concerned about child abuse and nobody should be allowed to go unpunished even for historical crimes, such as those committed by Rolf Harris and others.

It is also quite right and proper that dead child abusers like Jimmy Savile should have their memorials destroyed and their honours stripped from them posthumously.

It has been suggested in the Sunday papers that Margaret Thatcher knew of and was complicit in the cover up of senior politicians abusing children during her term as Prime Minister. I find it hard to believe that she would do this, but if it turns out to be true then the statue of her in parliament should be utterly destroyed and she should be stripped of her peerage.
